Joanne M. Curry is a Financial Advisor and an Enrolled Agent for the Wealth Management and Certified Public Accounting firm of Jonlyn & Associates. Joanne joined the firm in 2007. She was previously employed for nine years as a tax accountant for a local DuPage CPA firm. Her career also includes ten years in Human Resources, with a concentration in labor relations and benefits administration.
Joanne enjoys assisting clients in achieving their financial goals using a variety of strategies and with an eye to the tax implications. As a tax professional, she is in charge of income tax returns for Individuals, Trusts and Estates. She specializes in working with Real Estate Investors, Multi-State and Clergy/Minister/Pastor income tax returns.
Joanne is an Enrolled Agent, which means she has passed the rigorous IRS testing and standards to not only prepare tax returns for business and individuals, but she is also licensed to directly represent taxpayers and negotiate tax settlements with the Internal Revenue Service.
